We'll be back at Rembrandt's Dutch Pub in Dallas for another one of our Velvet Kitten Burlesque Revue shows!! This twice a month VK revue show features the Velvet Kitten dancers, comedian-emcee Dawn Diamond, and special guest "brolesque" performer Danny-Boy. Singing, dancing, bumps & grinds, teasing, & comedy….this is a revue show unlike other found in DFW!
Rembrandt's Dutch Pub is located at 703 McKinney Ave. (West End/Victory Park area) in the Old Brewery Buildings.
Show time is 10:00pm, and as always, there's never a cover for our vaudevillian-burlesque shows at Rembrandt's Dutch Pub!
Reservations recommended, but not necessary.

With no Kitten show in sight this weekend, may we recommend theatrical art at it's finest…. The MBS production of the theatre classic Oedipus Rex!
Oedipus Rex has fascinated audiences for millennia.
This play tells the story of Oedipus and his quest to discover the cause of the plague affecting Thebes. His search leads him to a series of revelations, each more horrific than the next culminating in the most intense and disturbing ending of any play ever written.
This new translation by Ian Johnston is dynamic, yet doesn't lose sight of the beauty of Sophocles' poetry while at the same time making it accessible to modern audiences. He has received countless accolades for his work and we are pleased to be the first company he's granted permission to mount a production of his new translation.
This production will be staged by the same team that brought you last year's critically acclaimed Dante:Inferno.

Free Comedy Show Tonight!

Tommy Blaze is Hyena’s favorite all time Comedian! Need we say more? He’s appeared on just about every TV talk show and the season finale of NBC’s “Friends”, where he played Jennifer Aniston’s date. He was the star of the movie “Rumplestilskin” (one of Vinnie Paul’s favorite movies), and also one of the stars on the syndicated comedy series “The Newz”. Sheer raw talent, comedic genius, and flawless timing make this show the pick of the year!

Brolesque?!?

If you haven't made it out to our Rembrandt burlesque shows, you may not have seen our special guest execute his one-of-a-kind burlesque act. Mr. Danny-Boy, DFW's first male burlesque stripper/performer, takes the stage at our vaudevillian-burlesque revue on Saturday nights at Rembrandt's Dutch Pub. Though burlesque doesn't dictate either male or female in description (as burlesque was originally a variety show of novelty acts, actors, comedians, and dancing girls), in the modern revival of burlesque, boylesque is the term used to refer to male burlesque dancers and strippers and male version of burlesque.
However, our Danny-Boy has coined his own term for the modern male burlesque performer in this revival…"brolesque." Never one to take himself seriously, and offering a hysterical & entertaining number we're proud to showcase, we'll let him call himself whatever he likes! So…brolesque it is!
We'll be back with more info about Danny-Boy, & his take on burlesque & performing.
"Burlesque" a little hard for you to handle, and not sure you're ready for "boylesque" or "brolesque?" Not to worry! Our newest weekly show opening at the end of April, Sugar Moonlight: A Classic Burlesque Revue, keeps the boys in the band, and the girls on the stage! Danny-Boy will be back behind the sax, playin' some swing & blues in the Kittens' house band, the Shish Boom Band!

Featuring the lovely Velvet Kittens Lola Love, Skye Vega, Stevie Swan, Bianca Suite, Comical emcee Dawn Diamond, introducing the Shish Boom Band (the Kittens’ new house band) and original costuming by Eric Sands, Sugar Moonlight is going to be the cat's meow!
