Auditions begin tomorrow for RB Prod newest burlesque enterprise, a variety burlesque-comedy show.
RB Prod is seeking burlesque dancers, female singers, and one variety act to round out the cast for this new weekly show.
The VK are organizing auditions for this production. To schedule your audition time please email us at le_cabaret_burlesque@yahoo.com

Please place in the subject line you are auditioning for weekly show.
Burlesque Dancers (either burlesque dancer or classically trained dancer background required): prepare one up-tempo solo (up to 3 min in length).
Singers: prepare one to two songs. Producer has requested to audition with a "sexy" song. Bring track music.
Variety Acts: Submit info and video footage (if available), and you will be contacted.
Please note: This is a weekly show. Performers will be expected to perform every Thursday night, and maintain consistent performance level. Professional attitudes only.
Positions are paid.

Begin tonight!!!
See you at the Verandah Club (2201 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75207)! From 7:00 - 8:00 pm we will be teaching Burlesque Basics (the beginning of your burlesque education). This is a studio class, and there will be stretching, toning and tease!
Miss us tonight in Dallas, and we will be back at the Verandah Club on Saturday, 1:00 - 2:00 pm for another round of Burlesque Basics!
Tuition: $15.00 per class (cash only)
The Verandah Club is located in the heart of Dallas' Market Center at Stemmons Freeway (I-35) and Wycliff Ave, in the beautiful 7 - acre park at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.

Our burlesque classes begin November 2 in Dallas, and November 3 in Fort Worth!
Our classes are being held at new locations and times for the month of November.
Dallas classes are at the beautiful Verandah Club (Wycliff and Stemmons, behind the Hilton Anatole Hotel).
We will be offering our signature Burlesque Basics class on Mondays 7:00 - 8:00 pm, and Saturdays 1:00 - 2:00 pm.
Our burlesque classes are open to members and non-members alike!
Members: $10.00 per class
Non-Members: $15.00 per class
Please remember: Students attending classes at the Verandah Club who are not members of the club are allowed access to the locker rooms for changing purposes and to use the aerobics room for their burlesque class for their $15.00 class rate. There's an additional $16 + tax guest fee if students wish to use another part of the facility.
Fort Worth classes are held at Hyena's Comedy Club in downtown Fort Worth (on Houston St, between 5th and 6th streets).

For the month of November our burlesque class will focus on the tease of burlesque. Students will learn one of our most popular burlesque numbers: If Loving You Is Wrong.
This VK exclusive dance teases and pleases with the playful seduction of the Kittens signature style! In a slow and seductive fashion, this VK favorite dresses you up in a white button-up shirt, tie, bowler hat, and cane…and slowly dresses you down.
For the month (Fort Worth November special): $40.00 for all classes
Drop-in rate: $15.00 per class

It's the last weekend of Theatre of Death, and MBS Productions has some treats in store for you during the end of this frightful season:
Halloween night is their annual "Trick & Treat" show. All audience members will receive a goodie bag full of sweets, treats, and tickets to other shows around town! Though not required, you are most welcome to come in costume, and at the end of the evening the best costumed audience member will receive a prize. No costume? You can still come and see the show and gawk at those who did! Also, visit the site and read the amazing reviews this show has gotten.
See Theatre of Death on Sunday November 1 at 2:30 pm and partake in Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Not only will you get to see the show but you will be able to sample traditional Dia de los Muertos food and drink. Stay after the show as Mark-Brian, who grew up in Central Rural Mexico, explains some of the quirky customs, and funny personal anecdotes surrounding this most intriguing holiday. Tickets are $21.

For anyone taking burlesque class for the first time, this dance will definitely have you coming back for more! This class is all about the fun of the burlesque tease.
Location:
Our Fort Worth classes will be held at Hyena's Comedy Club located in downtown Fort Worth at 605 Houston St, 76102 (between 5th and 6th streets).
November Tuition:
We are also holding a special on tuition in Fort Worth: No registration or sign-up fees, and $40.00 for the month of November!
Drop in students are also encouraged to attend and try out a class. Drop in rate is $15.00 per class.
To receive the month special, tuition must be paid in full on the first day of class.

The Velvet Kittens Burlesque Band
The Velvet Kittens are auditioning musicians for our new Velvet Kitten Band. The ability to collaborate and write original music a plus. Open to anyone who wants to participate in the VK's new burlesque band. New weekly variety burlesque-comedy show set to open in December 2009 in Dallas.
Currently casting a variety (specialty) act, a female emcee/singer, and one burlesque dancer.
For the burlesque dancer position, the producer has requested the following qualifications:
Female
18 yoa and up
Height/weight proportionate
Sexy
Ablilty to perform high energy solo burlesque dance number
How to audition:
Dancers are also requested to audition with a 2 - 3 min solo number.
Classically trained dancers without burlesque performance experience are also encouraged to audition. Prepare a high energy jazz solo number, or one will be taught to you at the audition.
Submitting:
The Velvet Kittens are scheduling the auditions for this new show, and auditions will be held in both Dallas and Fort Worth, and are looking to cast the burlesque dancer position immediately. This is a paid position. Please send resume, current pic or head shot, and short bio to le_cabaret_burlesque@yahoo.com. Please include any video links you may have on-line, and specify you are auditioning for dancer position in the weekly show.

Seeking one burlesque dancer or one classically trained dancer to perform in a new weekly show in Dallas, TX. Position is paid.
Shows will begin in December, and run every Thursday night.
Dancer must perform consistently and excellently on stage. Dancer must audition with one burlesque style dance number, 2-3 minutes in length.
