Zac Galaviz Benefit Concert

Zac Galaviz had been battling Blood Cancer for the past few years. He died March 31, 2008. His family and friends have started a permanent scholarship fund at Arlington High School that will fund private lessons for drum line students. The Arlington and UTA drum line is where Zac met his mentors and made lifetime friends.
The benefit concert is September 13, 2008, which coincides with Zac’s birthday. It will be held at Caves in Arlington starting around 6pm. Caves was his “home” dive bar and Zac & the DGSC played there often.
Their goal is to raise $10,000 in one night and will be asking for optional $20 donations at the door. There will also be raffle tickets being sold for $10. Prizes and other information about Zac and the fundraiser can be found on this website: http://www.zacgalaviz.com
