Learn the ultimate lap dance tease to please your Valentine in this Bombshell Specialty Workshop! A combo of the Science of the Lap Dance and Floorplay, you will learn transition movement, fluidity, and the most popular and seductive moves to create your very own saucy Valentine’s lap dance!

Students will learn one complete burlesque dance number in this BBS Workshop over a four class series. “Express” is a popular dance among our BBS students, and is a little fun, a little feisty, and all burlesque. “Express” utilizes the fundamentals of the BBS dance method, as well as emphasis on working from the core.

“Express” is offered on Saturdays in February, 12:30 – 1:30 pm in Fort Worth, TX. Class size is limited. Students must rsvp in advance through the Bombshell Dance Studio by calling 682-300-9150. Rate: $65.00

NEW DANCE CLASS at the BOMBSHELL!

In February we are introducing a new dance class called Dance Technique. Dance Technique class incorporates stretching, strengthening/toning exercises, and across the floor movement (turns, dance combos, jumps, etc) with the goal of building a stronger, technical dancer. Dance exercises will be added to fit the level of the group, and customized to improve the level of individual students. This class is designed for anyone who is interested in improving individual technique, or to build and improve coordination and strength as a dance or dance-fitness class.

Dance Technique is offered Thursday nights in February, 7:30 – 8:30 pm. Visit the Bombshell Dance Studio to reserve your spot in class! Rate: $60.00 for month.

January Burlesque Body Sculpt ™ Workshops

For the month of January we are offering four Burlesque Body Sculpt ™ Workshops: Monday night is the Hot Seat, Saturdays is Voodoo and Tango, and Sundays is Seduction. Each workshop is taught in a four-week session, with four one-hour classes, to learn one choreographed dance number.

Early Bird January discount: Pay by Monday, January 2^nd and receive $10.00 off your first dance class or workshop series. Pay by phone at 682-300-9150. Pay in studio Dec. 31 (10am – 12pm) or Jan. 2 (5pm – 7pm).

The Hot Seat

Level 1 – Beginner/Intermediate

Available Monday nights (Jan. 9, 16, 23, & 30), 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

One of our most popular BBS workshops! Incorporates burlesque style choreography with the featured dance prop: the chair. The Hot Seat is a great introductory class for those new to dance or the burlesque style of dancing.

Voodoo

Level I/II – Beginner/Intermediate

Available Saturdays (Jan. 7, 14, 21, & 28), 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm

Express desire and passion with this original BBS burlesque dance. Suggested dance props: trench coat and sunglasses.

Tango

Level I/II – Beginner/Intermediate

Available Saturdays (Jan. 7, 14, 21, & 28), 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

This BBS workshop takes a walk on the sinister side of love. Betrayal, deceit and revenge inspire this cabaret-burlesque style dance number.

Seduction

Level II – Intermediate (Beginners must get teacher approval)

Available Sundays (Jan. 8, 15, 22, & 29), 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

BBS workshop Seduction: A dance of seduction, with emphasis on fluid isolations and our signature burlesque style of movement.

All January BBS workshops are held at the Bombshell Dance Studio in Fort Worth, TX.

First BBS workshop is $65.00; each additional workshop is $35.00. Classes are limited in size.

All prices are plus tax; must rsvp and pay in advance for your place in class and to receive the early bird discount. Students who rsvp and pay first day of class will not receive discount.

“December Dance Fit” Week

Welcome to “December Dance Fit” Week at the Bombshell Dance Studio located in Fort Worth, Texas! From Monday, December 26^th – Friday, December 30th we are offering 45-minute intro dance technique and dance-fitness classes to help you get a jump-start on your New Year’s resolutions!

Whether you are looking to get in shape, try something new, or re-visit a long lost passion, “December Dance Fit” week is the perfect opportunity to trial some of the classes offered at the Bombshell to find your right “fit” prior to registering for our January session…and at a discounted rate!

Each class is $10.00 plus tax; cash only. Students must rsvp in advance. *Classes without the minimum of student reservations may be cancelled.

Velvet Kittens at the Lakewood Theater!

The Velvet Kittens of Le Cabaret Burlesque will be performing in Ricki Derek’s annual holiday show A Merry Little Christmas Show III, a new/old school holiday show featuring Ricki Derek and his Orchestra.

In it’s 3rd year of “pepperminttasticness” Ricki Derek’s A Merry Little Christmas Show returns to the historic Lakewood Theater in Dallas on Saturday, December 17^th at 9:00 pm for one night. This show is designed to make you forget the stress of the holidays, get your feet tappin’, and your face smiling. It’s a tip of the hat to the great holiday TV specials the Sinatra, Bing, and Dino used to do. So come with bells on and Ring-A-Ding,Ding. This year’s Dallas show sponsored by Sfuzzi!

We want to thank everyone who came out last night to our annual charity show Candyland! A Night of Sweets! We would also like to thank the Bombshell Dance Studio students and the Burlesque Body Sculpt ™ students from both Dallas and Fort Worth, as well as the Velvet Kitten cast for making last night’s show a success.

The Beulaville Baptist Book Club Presents: A Bur-Less-Q Nutcracker!

Are you tired of the typical Holiday shows? Come check ours out! The women of the Beulaville Baptist Book Club are in dire straits financially, and as a last ditch attempt to save their book club they decide to do a fundraiser and hire the Beaumont Ballet to perform Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker”. Madge’s Piña Colada Casserole unfortunately sickens the entire cast with food poisoning and they are unable to perform. Luckily, there is another dance troop in town. It seems the Velvet Kittens Burlesque Dancers are stuck in Beulaville because their van broke down on their way to New Orleans. Madge has never heard of Burlesque, or as she pronounces it “Bur-less-Q”, and in an act of necessity hires the dance troupe to do “The Nutcracker”. The end result? The most original, unusual, and comical Nutcracker you have ever seen!

The show will be presented at the Stone Cottage Theatre, 15650 Addison Road, Addison TX 75001, 214-477-4942.

Welcome to Dance-cem-burr! For the month of December, we’re changing it up! Dec. 1^st – 10^th is our “Intro Teaser Mini-Session,” featuring 45-minute dance technique and dance-fitness classes for only $10.00 per class! We’re offering FOUR different fun Holiday Workshops beginning Dec. 10^th – 23^rd! From burlesque to strip tease in our Vixen Series dance workshops to our Un Noel Coquin Lap Dance Workshop, you are sure to find one holiday dance that will rock your Christmas tree. And Dec. 26^th – 31^st is our “December Dance Fit” week. Join us for the last week of December as we introduce new dance-fitness classes to our curriculum. Our instructors will be on hand to help devise a dance workout program custom made for you!
