Dick Hunter from Big Dick Hunter’s Wild Ass Circus describes the Velvet Kittens as “in tune with the bygone era of cabaret,” despite being “a collection of twenty-something bombshells born during the Reagan Administration.” And as for their reception at Cafe Rembrandt, Hunter says, “The voluminous applause and the rousing ovations that they receive [could] cause Ed Meese to weep.”
