The Velvet Kittens of Le Cabaret Burlesque will be presenting a full-length revue show at the Can’t Stop the Serenity music showcase! The VK of LCB shows provide a cast of professional dancers, singers, and actors for an evening of comedy, dancing, and live “vintage nightclub” entertainment that’s unlike anything else in DFW! We will also be featuring guest performances by both Dallas and Fort Worth Burlesque Body Sculpt™ student dancers.
Join us Sunday, August 21st at Lola’s (2736 W. Sixth St, Fort Worth, TX) at 7:30 pm and help us raise money for a great cause! Tickets/cover: $5.00
Hip Hop Adult Dance Class at the Bombshell

Bring your sass, and hip it to the hot in this cardio-extreme sculpting dance class. Learn the studio-based jazz funk style of dance in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Dance wear recommended; turning up the heat required!

New class! FLOORPLAY!

FLOORPLAY is a 30-minute sexy fitness class with sassy dance moves on the floor, working abs, arms, and legs using flirtatious and slow dance movement.
Recommended attire: dance, yoga, or fitness wear. Shoes not required. Wear tights or pants that cover the knee. Kneepads are also acceptable, as well as working on a yoga mat.
You can engage in Floorplay in Dallas at the Verandah Club (2201 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas 75207) on August 22 and 29, 7:00 – 7:30 pm. Contact Cara to rsvp or for more information: 214-761-7895; cara.young@hilton.com. $10.00 per class.

“The Hot Seat”
Level 1 – Beginner/Intermediate
One of our most popular BBS workshops! Incorporates burlesque style choreography with the featured dance prop: the chair. Song: Sinister Kid by the Black Keys. BBS’s “The Hot Seat” workshop is available in Fort Worth on Sundays, 2:30 – 3:30 pm, August 7, 14, 21 & 28. (4-week series; 60 min. per class)

New York Tap Dancer, Artistic Director of Cats Paying Dues PLUS, and Steps on Broadway faculty member, Andrew Nemr is co-founder, along with Gregory Hines, of the Tap Legacy Foundation, Inc. and is a card-carrying member of the original Copasetics, Inc. Andrew has been blessed to receive the guidance of many of the great tap dancers including Eddie Brown, Harold Cromer, Dr. Bunny Briggs, Dr. Jimmy Slyde, Dr. James “Buster” Brown, LeRoy Myers, Ernest “Brownie” Brown, Henry “Phace” Robers, Dr. Henry LaTang, Mable Lee, Ernest Pratt, Dianne Walker, Savion Glover, Ted Levy and Gregory Hines. Mentored by Hines, Nemr’s work has been described as “a welcome return to the elegance of simplicity and the tap dancer as a maker of aural magic.” (exploredance.com)

“Fedora Fever “
Wednesday nights, 7:00 – 8:00 pm

“Fedora Fever” is all about class and style using the fashionable burlesque prop, the fedora hat. Set to the sultry and steamy blues song “Every Night,” trainer Jana Edele, artistic director and choreographer of the Velvet Kittens of Le Cabaret Burlesque, begins with a 30-minute stretching and toning warm-up followed by signature burlesque dance choreography focused on slow hip and shoulder isolations and sultry burlesque movement. Fedoras are provided, and students are welcome to bring their own.
“If Loving You is Wrong”
Saturdays, 12:00 – 1:00 pm
Includes July 9, 16, 23 and 30
Early registration rate: $50.00 (plus tax)
“If Loving You is Wrong” is from the Velvet Kittens repertoire, and a favorite among students. Incorporating the dance props of bowler hat, cane, chair, tie and button up shirt, this is one sassy Burlesque Body Sculpt ™ dance you don’t want to miss! Chairs, hats, and canes provided.
