Velvet Kittens Polices and Procedures Agreement
1. Tuition
a. A one time $20.00 non-refundable registration fee may be required. Some classes and workshops are exempt from registration fee.
b. Tuition is due in full no later than the first day of class. The school accepts cash, checks, money orders, or by credit on pay pal. A $20.00 non-refundable fee will be charged for any returned checks.
c. No refunds or credit will be given for class cancellations due to weather conditions. Student absences will be not be refunded; however if a class is missed it can be rescheduled within the following four weeks for a make-up class in any of the VK regular class sessions based upon openings in the substitute class. Make-up classes must be scheduled through the VK in advance. If the student is unable to complete class session due to illness or long-term injuries, the student must notify school in advance in order to transfer the remainder tuition credits to another session.
d. In the event that a class/workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, students will be reimbursed tuition or given the option to apply it to another VK class/workshop. The student will compensate any differences of greater value for the substitute class rate by the first day of class upon registration of substitute class. Inability to do so will negate the option for any refund.
e. These policies apply to all forms of payment for classes and workshops, as well as gift certificates.
