As the artistic director of the Velvet Kittens of Le Cabaret Burlesque, Ms. Edele combines her love and passion of dance and performance with her years of professional experience as a performer/choreographer/director to re-create the lost genres live theatrical variety shows.
Ms. Edele's career in the performance arts has expanded over 15 years, and includes work in theater, commercial, film, TV, concert, video, corporate/industrials as a performer, choreographer, director, writer, show producer, and instructor.
In addition to an expansive career in dance theatre, Ms. Edele received a degree in the Applied Arts in Acting Performance, and has won numerous awards for commitment and dedication to the studies of her crafts. In addition to traditional dance studies, Ms. Edele focused on the jazz stylings of Luigi jazz technique and Fosse, as well as Graham, and rhythm tap. Ms. Edele has worked as an assistant in the dance and theater departments of MVC and as a production assistant Freestyle Productions in Las Vegas. She also worked as choreographer/assistant director of EIM, which included choreography, casting, and direction for major corporate events, various city events in DFW, industrials, television, and live stage shows.

Ms. Edele continues to produce, direct, and choreograph theatrical entertainment, providing a unique opportunity for professionals in the area, as well as combining different disciplines of the arts. She has worked as a choreographer in DFW, Austin, and LA, and as an instructor teaching the disciplines of ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, hip-hop, burlesque, musical theater, and acting. She has taught at numerous prestigious professional dance studios, and continues to do so today. Ms. Edele continues to create and choreograph the Velvet Kitten shows, as well as performs as featured burlesque performer "Skye Vega."
Ms. Edele enjoys the opportunity to teach not only different art disciplines, but also highly valuable skills that can be used for a lifetime of success for those working toward a professional career or for the enjoyment of the recreational student. As a performer and student of the arts, she has spent her lifetime training and sharing her passion and is both delighted and appreciative to continue her career with new endeavors.
Ms. Edele has conceived and designed a fresh burlesque dance curriculum catering to the beginner student that can be built upon for a lifetime enjoyment of her students, and centering on the different facilities in which draw her students to the forum of the burlesque style of dance.
